Wingate Financial Planning won, and has then retained, the Investors in People standard. At our most recent assessment we applied for, and were awarded “Gold” designation.
Grown organically:
Wingate has continued to grow, principally thanks to our clients advocating our services, and introducing friends and family – a source of around 80% of our new enquiries.
Embedded strategic partnerships:
Wingate successfully merged with Francis Townsend & Hayward in 2012, we continue to seek win/win/win mergers or acquisitions seeking good outcomes for our firm, the acquirer’s people, and their clients.
A solid investment story, with a good track record
With a focus on financial planning, particularly for those approaching retirement we have offered our clients both low cost passive and active investment solutions through the Wingate Investment Committee. We seek returns above cash, with an element of capital protection, in respect of our actively managed solution the performance over the longer term has achieved our expectations of out-performance.
Given back to the community:
Wingate Financial Planning, along with its sister company, Wingate Benefit Solutions has donated significant sums to charity, in particular Young Epilepsy who we support through an annual charity run, weekly “dress down” donations, and periodic event.
Financial Education and Support
Our advisers have helped with talks at industry events, regular press articles and pieces aimed at educating individuals to help them avoid making poor financial decisions. We also provided response to industry consultations and feel we have contributed to raising professional standards for the future.
Revenue Growth
As a new start up business in 2008, Wingate Financial Planning have achieved consistent profitable growth throughout the past 10 years which has allowed us to reinvest in the business for the benefit of our clients and personnel our annual revenue for 2017 exceeded £2.1M.
