Wingate Financial Planning were invited to the House of Commons, last night, to receive the coveted Gold Standard for Independent Financial Advice at the Gold Standard Awards 2011.
The awards are dedicated to identifying firms in the financial services sector that can demonstrate a strong structure and are committed to excellent standards of service. The Gold Standard Awards are one of the toughest Awards to achieve. As well as taking into account financial strength, the awards assess areas such as trust, fair value, service as well as capability to conduct business. They are designed to identify companies that not only have strong structures and procedures in place, but are going above and beyond standard business practices.
Commenting on the Awards, chair of the judging panel, Deborah Benn, said of Wingate’s submission “This was a very strong submission with an excellent client focus. A great deal of client care is evidenced and commitment to delivering value for money. Judges were impressed with qualifications and liked their service policy. The client journey is well documented and detailed analysis provided.”
Ben Clarke, Wingate Financial Planning’s Managing Director said; “Winning the Gold Standard Award 2011 represents the pinnacle of a very successful year for Wingate. We’ve won or been shortlisted for five firm-level or individual awards, but the Gold Standard is the toughest, and therefore most valued. We’re particularly delighted with the judges comments, which we believe represents a very fair and accurate assessment of what we believe are Wingate’s particular strengths and differentiators.”
