Wingate Financial Planning, a firm of fee-based (as opposed to commission earning) Chartered Financial Planners, were commended in this week’s 2012 Small IFA Firm of 2012 in the Financial Times Financial Adviser awards.

The category, which is open to firms employing less than 25 fee-earning Financial Planners is awarded by the FT’s Financial Adviser publication.

“Naturally we’d hoped to win, but there was tough competition in this category”, said Financial Planning Director, Alistair Cunningham, “We’ve had such success with awards in the past eighteen months it’s easy to be blasé. The Financial Adviser awards are one of the most recognisable awards and it is great to have external validation that we are one of the UK’s leading providers of quality, local, Financial Planning”
