Mark has worked in the financial services industry since 2002, having most recently worked for a leading Private Bank in St. James’s Square, London before joining Wingate Financial Planning in July 2015 as a Paraplanner.
Mark is a member of the Personal Finance Society, the UK’s professional body for financial advisers, representing his commitment to high standards of knowledge, professional development and ethical behaviour. Mark is also a Chartered Member of the CISI, the UK’s leading securities and investment professional body and has been awarded their Chartered Wealth Manager title which recognises senior members in the retail sector at the pinnacle of their profession. Mark also sits on Wingate’s Investment Committee and contributes towards the asset allocation and fund selection of the ‘best of breed’ managers for our ‘active’ model portfolios.
In addition, Mark was awarded the CISI Private Client Investment Advice & Management Award 2013 for attaining the highest pass mark of 92% internationally that year at the award ceremony at Mansion House.
Mark lives in Caterham with his wife. In his spare time he enjoys all things motorsport plus keeping fit and active. Of note, Mark has raised over £49,000 for Cancer Research UK by completing ‘The Three Peaks Challenge’ (scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours).
